Oliver Manders-Naden has joined Blagden as Regional Sales Manager for our Coatings sector. He is responsible for customers across the Midlands, Wales and Ireland.
Oliver is experienced in chemical sales, having previously worked for various distributors involved in industrial sectors including coatings. He also brings solid technical knowledge gained through five years spent studying chemistry at undergraduate and Master’s levels at the University of Leicester.
During his studies, he developed a clear sense of his future career direction, as he preferred the practical applications of chemistry to research and development. “I’m a problem solver at heart and enjoy being able to identify solutions for customers who are having issues with their formulations,” he explains. “I get pleasure seeing projects through from initial discussion to commercial success.”
He was attracted to Blagden by the opportunity to work in a company with a strong technical sales focus, as well as being able to offer customers market leading products, such as Byk and Eckart product portfolios.
Outside of work, much of Oliver’s time is consumed by the demands of two boys under the age of three. However, he squeezes in trips to the golf course when he can. It’s been a big summer too - not only has he started his role at Blagden, he tied the knot with his partner of 14 years!
