NEW: Gluten-free bread improver available

Glutender Plus is a new gluten-free bread improver available from Blagden which has been shown to improve texture and softness in gluten-free bread.

Launched by one of Blagden’s key supply partners, Riken Vitamin, to complement its bread improver range, Glutender Plus has been developed for use in gluten-free bread products. It is described as being an effective softener and includes properties which prolong the freshness of the bread.

An experiment to examine the performance of Glutender Plus in gluten-free bread compared to a control without the improver, indicated that Glutender Plus improved internal grain structure, texture and softness of the bread.
