Ultrastar brings ultra brilliance to silver screen

Ultrastar inks bring metallic effects to screen printing that had previously only been seen with metallised substrates or transfer foils.

The mirror-like inks offer a very high metallic effect as well as good rub resistance and adhesion. Overall benefits of the Ultrastar inks include:

• Brilliance: the impact of foil stamping can now be achieved with a metallic ink
• Sustainability: the metallic ink is only used where required so there is less waste than with foils
• Savings: through reduced cost and faster production
• Versatile: designed for both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates

The Ultrastar range includes solvent-free and stable one-component UV screen inks, as well as a silicone-free version.
