BENTOLITE-2422

BENTOLITE 2422 is a specially processed calcium bentonite which is suited for coating applications where control of settling and syneresis are needed. It is a high brightness bentonite clay and will also improve hiding. BENTOLITE 2422 improves hold-out, particularly when used in conjunction with cellulosics. Improved hold-out is useful when painting over a porous substrate, painting a substrate with different densities (ie gypsum wall board with joint compound), and touch-up of a previously painted surface. It controls settling, controls syneresis, improves hiding and hold-out. It has excellent wet edge properties.
