BlagGuard SAP

BlagGuard SAP is a nature-identical product based on white willow bark extract and renewably sourced propanediol, both of which are certified by Ecocert for use in natural and organic cosmetics. Willow bark extract is a source of salicylic acid - a naturally occurring ß-hydroxy acid. BlagGuard SAP is particularly active against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, and is suitable for use in both leave-on and rinse-off formulations. Due to its propanediol content, BlagGuard SAP offers formulators the additional benefits of improved humectancy, excellent sensory characteristics, enhanced clarity and viscosity building. BlagGuard SAP is used in a diverse range of applications from disinfectants to acne treatments.
