BYK-039

Mineral oil-based, VOC- and silicone-free defoamer for aqueous emulsion systems within a PVC range of 35-70. Does not contain alkylphenol ethoxylates. Also suitable for high-solid PUR leather coatings. The defoamer has a broad application spectrum and covers the PVC range of 35-70. BYK-039 is VOC-free (< 1500 ppm), silicone-free and does not contain alkylphenol ethoxylates. The additive is recommended for use in emulsion and exterior wall paints and emulsion plasters. In high-solid PUR leather coatings, BYK-039 facilitates vacuum de-aeration and improves the air release after application.
