BYK-1770

Silicone-containing defoamer for aqueous architectural coatings. Particularly suitable for thick layer systems with airless/airmix application. Solvent-free. BYK-1770 is particularly effective in acrylate-based and polyurethane/acrylate aqueous thick layer systems with airless/airmix application. It prevents the formation of microfoam and is suitable for pigmented systems and clear coatings. It has no negative influence on transparency and gloss in high-gloss systems. BYK-1770 is solvent free. Particularly recommended for architectural coatings and thick layer systems (joinery), also recommended for industrial coatings and wood and furniture coatings.
