BYK-1781

Silicone-containing defoamer for aqueous systems to remove microfoam generated during application. BYK-1781 is highly effective in aqueous systems, especially in systems with airless or airmix application. It offers the coating outstanding protection against microfoam and does not impact the transparency or the gloss in high-gloss systems. BYK-1781 can be used in both pigmented systems and clear coats. The additive is solvent-free. Even in aqueous UV systems, BYK-1781 has an excellent defoaming effect. Recommended for architectural and wood and furniture coatings. Also suitable for protective and industrial coatings.
