BYK 349

BYK-349 is a highly effective silicone surfactant for aqueous coatings, adhesives and maintenance products. The additive causes a considerable reduction in the surface tension in aqueous adhesive systems, thereby improving the wetting of critical substrates. BYK 349 improves substrate wetting and levelling in aqueous maintenance products. It only marginally, if at all, stabilises the foam, does not impair the subsequent layer and does not increase the surface slip. It is an all-purpose product which is suitable for systems that do not contain co-solvents.
