Laponite EP

Laponite products are used to improve the performance and stability of a wide range of water based formulated products. Laponite EP is a layered silicate manufactured from naturally occurring mineral sources with a proprietary organic modification. It is particularly effective in: formulations with highly acidic, or with highly alkaline pH levels; products with higher levels of dissolved salts; formulas that require spray-with-cling rheology; systems containing higher levels of water soluble organic solvents; stabilising suspensions of pigments and minerals. It is used to impart a shear sensitive structure to water based systems, including household and industrial surface coatings, household and I&I cleansers, ceramic glazes and agrochemical, oilfield and horticultural products.
