OPTIBENT-987

Powdered rheology additive based on an activated, natural phyllosilicate for aqueous, mineral-based dry mix mortars and paste-like binder systems. OPTIBENT-987 produces thixotropic flow behaviour. It improves the anti-sagging properties in pre-mix mortars and their ease of processing without impairing the cement hydration. In aqueous paste-like binder systems, OPTIBENT-987 increases the storage stability and reduces the settling tendency during application which enables thick layers. OPTIBENT-987 also displays consistent rheological properties even at different temperature conditions. OPTIBENT-987 is suitable for a variety of aqueous construction systems in the pH neutral to alkaline range.
