Sterotex HM

The Sterotex line of excipients are finely divided food grade vegetable powders made of edible hydrogenated vegetable oils. The products can act as lubricants, bulking agents, binders, and mould release agents. Sterotex HM is a powder that is widely used as a lubricant in tablet manufacturing in pharmaceutical and food supplement industries. Sterotex tablet lubricants belong to the hydrophobic category which is the most widely used in the tableting industry. Sterotex HM conforms to the National Formulary compendial monograph for Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Type I. All Sterotex powders are certified Kosher and are similar in appearance but differ in melting point ranges.
